Director’s note
The history of 'Kijichon', or US military camp town in South Korea, has been repeated over since the Korean war. <American Alley> is a documentary that portrays women in this village, where old Korean women and new migrant workers from Russia and Philippines are struggling to survive. They seem to live in a different time-space, but their lives resemble each other very much.
